Abstract

In this study, in order to analyze the factors affecting the moisture content of the livestock manure dehydration device, the moisture content was measured under 48 conditions according to the plan and method of the screen compression test. Based on the measured results, ANOVA was performed using Minitab, and three factors were viewed as independent variables, and the water content measured at each level was defined as a response variable to examine the linear relationship between the independent variable and the response variable together. Among the results of ANOVA on moisture content, Pareto graphs confirmed factors affecting moisture content among screen size, compression load, and manure content. From the results of measuring the moisture content, it was found that among the three factors at the significance level of 5%, screen size and compression load were statistically factors that influence the moisture content, and the interaction between the excreta and each factor did not affect the moisture content.
